Frequently asked questions

Can I use one QR code for check-in and program?

You can use one QR code only if it points to a single URL. For check-in, you typically need unique QR codes per ticket (generated by your ticketing system). For the program, one shared QR code linking to a webpage or PDF works great.

How do I share WiFi at an event with a QR code?

Create a WiFi QR code with our free generator: enter the network name (SSID) and password. Display it on screens or print it on signage. Guests scan and connect without typing the password.

Can I track how many people scanned the event program QR code?

Yes. Use a dynamic QR code (paid plan) and you'll see total scans, when they happened, and optionally country/device. Useful to measure engagement with your program or feedback form.

What size should the QR code be for event signage?

For screens or large banners, use a high-resolution PNG or SVG. For badges or small handouts, keep the QR at least 2 cm (about 0.8 inch) per side so phones can scan easily.

Is it free to create event QR codes?

Yes. Static QR codes (WiFi, URL, vCard) are free. For analytics and the ability to change the link after printing, use a dynamic QR code on a paid plan.
